The journey of Rema and Omah Lay into the music industry is quite similar because they both became an instant music sensation in their first year in the music industry.

Mavin Wonderkid Rema came through in 2019 as a talented newbie who is very hungry to become a superstar.

In his debut year, he had about 3 solid EPs to his name which amassed millions of streams across all music platforms.

Rema‘s kind of music seems to be unpredictable as he delivers his songs in different styles and patterns.

He did it again in 2020 with singles like “Woman“, “Ginger Me” and a host of others.

Omah Lay on the other hand had the 2019 Rema kind of wave in 2020.

His “Get Layd” EP was a big hit in 2020 as all 5 tracks on the EP were all good songs filled with good vibes.

After “Get Layd“, Omah Lay‘s “What We Have Done” EP was also an amazing project.

Considering some of his major collaborations in 2020, it is safe to say that Omah Lay already has a place in the heart of most Nigerian music lovers.
