LET’S TALK!! What System Of Government Is Nigeria Operating With? DEMOCRACY or AUTOCRACY?

System Of Government, Nigeria,TalkZone,

I took my time to listen to the interview of the former Naval Commodore, Kunle Olawunmi on Channels tv live and I felt bad  Nigeria. She need help.😓

Terrible things are happening in this country.

What Is Democracy?

Democracy is a system of government in which laws, policies, leadership, and major undertakings of a state or other polity are directly or indirectly decided by the people.

What Is Autocracy

Autocracy is a system of government in which absolute power over a state is concentrated in the hands of one person (eg. Buhari) whose decisions are subject to neither external legal restraints nor regularized mechanisms of popular control according to Wiki.

Nigeria System Of Government

Nigeria is a federal republic whose government operates as a representative democracy; established in 1999.

But if you ask me, Nigeria is not a democratic county, but autocratic.

For instance, I read on the news this morning that president Muhammadu Buhari reportedly orders NBC
to suspend Channels Television licence over interview of Gov. Ortom of Benue state and Retired Naval Commodore Kunle Olawunmi.

It did not end there. Buhari reportedly ordered for the arrest of Chamberlain Usoh, Co-Host on Sunrise Daily and his colleagues, anchors of the program at Channels.

Why would he do such thing in a democratic nation? What’s going on!

Why is Buhari after Southerners and the middle-belt always? Has Gumi and Patami arrested for all the thrash they vomited couple of weeks ago on national TV?
